Will Midas Blenny eat or nip my macroalgae?

i have a tank tank that contains sea lettuce, gracilaria, baby pink fern, and some chaeto (no I don't have a sump). I was thinking about getting a Midas Blenny, should I reconsider? Will it eat my macros?

Some websites say he prefers meaty food as compared to other blennies
