Tired of 1" frags????

Well I have found a supplier that is willing to send me a box of 30 mini colonies for 55.00 per mini colony shipped. Yes that's right a COLONY not a 1" frag for 55.00 shipped here to El Paso.

The problem is that in order to place the order we need to fill a box with 30 corals. you can see a sample of colonies below for size reference.

And what the variety of coral in the box can look like...

Many of the corals can and will contain acro crabs in them which is always a nice surprise. You can search the corals at baliaquarium.net as most of the corals listed here are available. Once you decide which corals you'd like let me know by posting here and I will place the order once we have reached the minimum 30 corals. Thanks!

Sounds Great Tim. Take a look at that website and scroll through the many corals and their pictures that are available. Then just let me know which ones you'd be interested in. We need to fill the box with 30 corals. Please help me in recruiting some folks to take part in this venture. I have no doubt that we will be very pleased with the types and sizes of corals.

See if you can work down the price. I saw a shipping manifest that indicated that these type of Mari cultured corals are sold at about $20 per piece when buying in boxes of 30.

Im sure they are sold to the wholesaler at a cheaper price. However, considering that they too have to make a profit and then ship it here the price seems fair enough to me. Considering that most of these corals at a LFS here in town would easily fetch a price much higher than this. Also must consider the fact that SPS is usually not carried here in town by most LFS. Thanks for the input.

That's awesome looks like we are getting this thing going. But i need to know how many corals each will take so that we can make sure to get to 30. The box will actually have 35 corals but I'm buying 5 colonies so we need to order a total of 30 more. Let's get this thing going guys. Let me know how many and which ones so I can create a list. Thanks.

Sweet man. Let me know what corals you all want. Depending on the numbers of corals you all want we might be about half way there.

So far I have Tim down for 2, lionfish for 5, Javles is in and wowkingjames is in. I also received a pm from some one don't quite remember who off the top of my head. Just need to know quantities and types of coral so that I can start generating a list. Thanks

Spoke to the supplier this evening and he is willing to ship the box if we get to a minimum of 25 corals. With my 5 and those listed above we are at 13 so far. We are half way there. Only 12 more colonies.

Wowkingjames, Javles, and matthias let me know how many and which corals you want so that we can complete the 12 that we need. Also mrcyrus let me know if you want me to add that sponge for you. I'd like to place the order after the super bowl if at all possible. Thanks!
