Sorry TJ, I only just realised you had written this reply...
I know!
I thought that they were ridiculously over priced...
I spoke to another LFS, and they said the reason for the huge price is the fact that Australia isn't allowed to import invertebrate, so they are collected within Australia, which makes them much more expensive...
I think its a load of ..........
But it's just like Aussie Duncan's over in the states, pretty average price in terms of coral, over here, in the $200+ mark, just because its local produce... Its a joke...

Yeah there's a lot of different recommendations. More important than picking a number is keeping it stable. If I try out the Blue Coral Method, I'll be running at 12.

That's odd... I would've thought that items collected locally would be cheaper?

Sorry to hear about the loss of the wrasse. How are the other fish making out?

Everything else seems to be fine. I finally found the new Yasha Goby's burrow, as well as the Hi Fin Goby's burrow. Although I've only spotted one Hi-fin, but I'm guessing both are in the burrow.

uh... now that's strikingly odd, as I found mine this morning as well. It was swimming around last night, but this morning no such luck. I'll have to chat with LA later today.

I actually was planning on shooting you a PM to see how yours was doing. I called LiveAquaria to see if I could add a fish on my order that was shipping out today so I could save on shipping, but it was already on its way out the door. Also, they no longer have the Christmas Wrasse in stock. So they just credited my account.

for LiveAquaria.

I received a phone call that something was wrong with my order around 10:15am, and it wasn't going to ship today. Since it was Thursday already, I would've had to upgrade to Saturday shipping for an additional $22.50, or wait until Monday to have the item shipped, and wouldn't receive it until Tuesday.

After I got off the phone, I was a little ticked off... mainly because I was on the phone with them prior to the 10:15am call at 9:30 this morning (around 8:30am their time regarding the Christmas Wrasse/adding to my order), and felt that I should have been notified then if something was wrong with my order. So it could have been fixed and still shipped on time.

Anyway, I called them back and explained that I felt this should have been addressed on my earlier call, and I don't think I should be penalized to have to wait until Tuesday to receive my item. However, since the original mistake that caused the hiccup may have in fact been an information entry error on my part, I proposed that we split the cost to upgrade the shipping to Saturday.

They accepted, and now I feel much better.

Haha... yep. I think it's going to take the anthias a little while before they adapt to the increased flow, but that side of the tank seems to be where all the fish have decided to reside thus far.

Your tank is really coming all nicely man. Got any good deals lined up for next months frag swap? Some nice pieces are starting to show up on swapper.

Thanks Erik, I'm hoping the color comes back in a few of the corals. 3 or 4 of my corals browned pretty bad when the power went out here, then my heater failed the following day. One of them was Sean's nice Blue Digi that had great color... as well as my nice White and Pink acro I picked up back here in PA. I'm not holding my breath though, but for now I have the space, so I can let them sit for a while and see what happens.

I think I'm going to pull out the Eagle Eyes on the right hand side, and replace them with a brighter coral or zoanthid as well, then maybe move them around the side somewhere as "filler"

As for the swap. I haven't checked out frag swapper yet. I need to get on there. There are definitely a few pieces I'm on the hunt for... but won't really have much to offer for sale or trade. I decided I'm done with my frag setup, until I can get something hooked onto my main system. Dealing with the sumpless, skimerless system for 4 months was a major pain.

btw... I really like the "elite frag only" swap idea you pitched in the club forum.
