Bubble tip anemone went into hiding

My new bubble tip spent the whole photoperiod in the spot i put him and looked great. As soon as light's went out it went into hiding under the live rock...still open and healthy. I know I shouldn't force it out where it's visible bit I'd like to see him. Will he come back out when lights are on? What should I do? Thanks

Some of the best advice when it comes to anemones, in my experience, is to let them be. The only exception being if it is about to be sucked up by a powerhead.

When it settles in it will reach out to the light where you can see it.

Give it time and leave it be, they grow like weeds are with good water hard to kill.

They will move to find a spot that they are happy. If its new lighting, they usually hide until they adjust

I had one that hid for a couple weeks when i first put it in the tank. Eventually he slowly made his way to the light. I would let it be for now.

Relax. they don't have brains and wonder around until they like a spot, time varies.

Clean water is the best thing you can do.

It may have....I guarantee you that he will not do as you want, but as he wants.
So where he's going to be is completely out of your control, however, once set in a spot, if flow and light does not change, he will stay put.

Just leave him alone, mine moved 3 times over 6 months and finally ended up right in the middle.....just relax and let him be..

Mine took forever (it seemed like that anyway), but after a month or so he settled in right on top. He started at the back of the tank.

When I first added mine it was in the same spot for a few days and then one day it went missing and there was no sign of him. Turns out he was moving through a hole in the rock to get to the other side.
