Another noob

Hey guys, so I have been contemplating using the triton method or Aquaforest method after having success with Zeovit years ago.

I am starting a 150 gallon deep tank. I have almost obtained all my equipment and started looking at the Aquaforest product manual and products, and reading on others tanks on here.

I was just curious what products I really need to get started, it will be an SPS dominated tank, light bioload. I know all the products have there purpose but if there are things I don't necessarily need I would appreciate a heads up.

I have already ordered components 1,2, and 3, as well as carbon and phosphate minus.

Hello,
Needed products depends of your coral cast.
Here is our guide what products do you need to each type of aquarium:
http://aquaforest.eu/wp-content/uplo...ide_EN_RGB.pdf

You will need Component 1+2+3+ when your corals will consumed Ca,KH,Mg.

For start you can use Reef Salt and Bio S.

I've already read the guide, I know each product has a purpose I want feed back from Reefer as to what they have noticed you don't actually need.

Like bio S, most say you don't need it, you barely use it so don't buy it.

Biological stability is the most important thing in reef aquarium that's why nitrifying bacteria - Bio S - are very important.
