Please excuse the fish trap. After 4 years, my copperband has decided to eat some scans whilst I was away. Going to catch him for the sin bin!

Mo, Ive seen lots of awesome tanks in my years but your tank just makes my jaw drop everytime I see pictures. Such an awesome tank man!!! I cringe a little when I think of changing all those T5 bulbs though I dont even like changing 8

Got anymore details on this Aquaforest system or can you point me in the right direction to read more?

moser - that is absolutely incredible, and what's even better is that you're in the UK! where are you based?
out of interest - what are your tactics for scaping? ie - how do you get corals in and out? bearing in mind it's 6ft - i'm picturing you in a wetsuit? i am sick of gluing coral in my 3 foot deep tank let alone 6 feet....

amazing!

Changing tubes takes an hour or so.
I can wheel out two fixtures at a time, so it's not too much of a problem.
Experimenting with tubes can be a pain though, but I think Im happy with the mix I have now….

You can check Aquaforest on their .eu website or google it.
All of their supplements are listed- happy to discuss the ones I've used.
Their salt is great too.

I used 100% ceramic rocks from Korallenwelt.

The tank is 8ft front to back. I tried to place most corals around the sides and back, so easier access….

Cheers

The heat was immense. The electricity bill was big.
If my aircon ever failed, I think the lights would have boiled the tank.

T5 tanks are beautiful and royal blue / violet LEDs makes tanks really pop.
Electricity consumption is about 1/3 less., so definitely worth the switch.

It has worked out very well.....

Absolutely stunning reef. I am shocked.
What are the parameters of the water, and how to respond tank to replace the lamps?
What scheme you use now to save water parameters?
Waiting for new photos. Thank you.

Can look at their .eu website.
They have supps like iodine/ potassium / Strontium/ Fluorine/ etc.
Bacteria
Carbon source.
Coral aminos/ vits

You dose as you need, with recommended doses if you are not sure….. easy!
Excellent salt too!.

They are easy to follow, hence the great results!

Only the back and sides. The front is closed off, to avoid humidity in the house!
