Tank arrived

Here comes the 500g plus 3X60g tanks. Room divider between FR & Home Office Room (now as a retired engineer it is my play/office room)
Frame/stand built in shop with the 3 small tanks & plumbing in place
500g tank & piping also prepared in shop and assembled in less than one hour at my place (took two hours to move from truck to my Family-office rooms

Stand being moved from truck with 3X60g glass tanks followed by main all glass 500g tank

500g made it to FR

In back corner is my 65g inhabitants ready to jump into their new home. Bottom tanks: left will be frag tank, Middle is sump, right is refuge

Steve: I am not familiar with glass cages. I am relying totally on my LFS that I knew from before I sold my previous 180 & 320 gallons (4 years ago)... Hope the tank is OK. the work on the plumbing and framing looks VG. Do not need a not so good main tank. Paying my LFS good bucks for it... Thanks for the cautionary note. Filling it up now with a new 90GPD SpectraPure and my old 150GPD RO/DI Combined effluent rdgs at 5 ppm.... Will check for leaks etc but longer term we shall see.

Sorry...dont want to cause any alarm. Just check the seams to make sure they look good. Is the tank brand new or did you buy it used?

Thanks Steve. I like RC because of the people and the opinions and suggestions and learning I get from here. I will be looking closely at all the seams and the whole tank and go over my observations with LFS owner and anything that I do not understand I will post here to get advise/opinions etc.. Thanks a million Steve. to ALL at RC; Please keep the opinions coming I appreciate it..

question on the loc line returns, it looks like they are fed from one end, i can't tell if it's closed loop but the first return might be way stronger than the last one in the chain. will wait on updated pics.

Following along! Please make sure you follow glass cages suggestions for stand and I think they require padding under the tank.
Looking good!

Corey

Corey thanks. My setup is being put together by a "professional" that I used before and was happy with him. He has Styrofoam under all four tanks. and made sure everything is super level. I'll keep all informed of progress Hope for the best. Have filled two inches of water Twenty eight inches to go plus 3 small tanks needing another 180 gallons.. PATIENCE is in demand in my household!!
