George,
My hats off, this is amazing, a few months ago I was over Bogdon's house and saw your old tank. I was wondering if you were ever going to get back into it, I see a lot of similarities from the old to the new. You always go over the top and make it look like a seamless piece of furniture. You definitely didn't disappoint!!

Beautiful system! How do you like the xp8000? I’m running an xp5000ext and a 5000sss on my 650gallon system but I want to get rid of them and go with one larger skimmer and I’m strongly considering the xp8000ext!

My old 1hp chiller that I salvaged from my last tank seems to be dying so I bought this beast to replace it. This thing looks like a 3 ton home condenser! LOL. This is a 2 hp Tradewind Chillers.

I love my protein skimmer, it runs really well and seems to have very few problems. It’s been running for five years strong!

George,

How far away are your lights from the surface of the water? And what intensity are you running them at right now?

My lights are 9” above the water but I’ve got a glass lid above the tank. The lights run at approximately 60%

I am completely speechless, this setup is amazing, I can’t wait to see the corals grow out and fill in.
