Thanks! I appreciate it!!

Hoping to get a lot done this weekend. I suffered a few injuries in the last season (soccer goalie) that held me back but I am starting to heal up and decided to take the winter off to play competitive cornhole instead

Dude, no joke. My last game was just like that, watch that vid all the time before a game haha. I crawled away with a concussion, bleeding from the mouth/nose, sprained ankle, and a broken rib... I tried to stay in and stopped a handful of other shots until I stopped one with my face, then rolled an ankle, and I was like ok... go sit on the bench. The game before that I just about broke my wrist. Still in PT from it... The sport is pretty rough on goalies.

Most of the time the backup goalie is terrible so with a broken whatever we usually try to stay in the game. I play at a pretty competitive level and good backup keeps are hard to find. After I left the game they took complete advantage of it.

You totally dodged a bullet. The pump on the media reactor I let you borrow malfunctioned. I lost all the sps in my QT . When digging around trying to find a cause I pulled it out and the pump was almost too hot to touch. It precipitated the the alk/calc out of the water. 9dkh to ~3.2 in a day. Everything in that tank that survived is super ****ed.
Iphone 7 on the way but in three weeks

It probably wouldn't have affected anything awfully in my tank but sorry to hear that Hope everything else is going okay.

Painting the Walls.

2 coats of Behr Ultra Semi Gloss Acrylic White laid on at 250sqft/gal. Next up is the linoleum floor. I'll need to rent a van to pick it and a few sheets of FRP up. I think linoleum is the best way to go, the concrete has some cracks in it so I'm not going to go with an epoxy. It will be easier to hide them with the linoleum.

I'll use FRP as back splashes for the QT and BTA tanks. I don't think I will need it behind the sump and frag tank but I'm not completely decided yet.

Is this in the fish room? The old laundry room?

Yup! The old laundry room. Once the floor is in things should start moving pretty quick. There was a ton of work to do down there. I'm hoping to have water in the tank in a month or so.

Thanks ! I've put a few hours into it .

I decided to keep the original electrical in the room since it was dedicated to that room already so now there will be 4 circuits...

6x 20L BTA Prop Tanks & 2 60gal QT on a 20a circuit.
100gal Frag tank and 60gal Sunburst Prop Tank on a 20a circuit.
Main sump, skimmer, return pump, and accessories on a 20a circuit.
Each tank will have additional backup circulation on the 15a circuit.

That would be awesome! Home Depot rents big vans for $20 so if timing doesn't work out it's no biggie. I'd like to pick up the flooring tomorrow after work. Sometime around 7pm. I need to get my water storage tanks back in the room, I dumped a bunch of extra water into the aquariums before taking the storage tanks down but needing top off is rapidly approaching. I didn't get to prep the floor last night so would need to do that before picking stuff up. Let me know if that works for you!!

Yea, one thing after another. I've been wearing a brace and while it made things more difficult it didn't get in the way. This on the other hand gives me no functioning thumb which makes gripping stuff a little difficult. If I could get the floor in I would still be able to make some progress so I may try to hire that out. Problem is I need it done asap or I'll be topping off out of 5 gallon buckets

At least my broken rib doesn't hurt anymore

Dang....if I knew anything about flooring I would help you out. The only person I know in the flooring business owns his shop in FTC - not sure if that would be of any assistance to you.

That's the life of an indoor goalkeeper. Taking the winter off to heal up. Played 74 games this last year, it takes a toll when you're 36 .

Hired someone to put the floor in tomorrow so I should still make some progress.

My nickname in college was "Hop-a-long" and the crutches in my garage have a slight bend to them. This is par

The floor is in!

I'm going to wait a bit on the wall base so I can get the built in shelving, qt rack, and bta prop racks in place. Hoping to get that done by the end of the weekend. Time to make some progress!!!!

Plan for N and E Walls

This is what I am planning for the North and East walls inside the room. I have the lights, tanks (except one of the QT), and most of the stuff to set them up. Just need to find the time and as this weekend rapidly approaches I am not finding the time to work at all on it.

This would look so sweet. Would the systems have their own filtration for each one or would you plumb them all together?

They all have their own. All of them are all in ones. I'm probably going skimmerless for them as well. On my test setup the skimmer never really did much.
