Angeltown - Phoenix from Ashes

Hey guys
Here I want to introduce you my divider tank. The tank contains 5.500 liter and is 3.80m x 1.45m x 1.10m.
12.5 feet x 4.75 feet x 3.6 feet = 1.450 US gallon
I removed the rockwork after one year because I don't like the massive middle shaft. Here is a video before removing rockwork and shaft.

Wow very impressive setup.

So what is all that reddish stuff on either side? some type of cyano bacteria or algae? Or just rock rubble?

This is a dream build. cannot wait for more picture!

did you have any aggression problems with so many different types of fish specifically the hogfish?

Just Bodianus opercularis stressed the Pseudanthias pulcherimus and red Cirrhilabrus sometimes. Cirrhilabrus solorensis is a bad boy against other Cirrhilabrus. In new setup only Cirrhilabrus naokoae with a few female will introduce. No aggressions between wrasses any moor.

The middle shaft is bad think for current and light. It looks to cornered and not naturally. Also there isn't enough light for corals to grow in the middle because corals in top produce shadow.

Truly, a dream build! WAU! Those tank dimensions will give almost endless possibilities with the fauna. There is so much to enjoy here; the tank, the equipment (I'm a tech junkie ) and scale. Looking forward for the updates

What does the tank look like now? I thought the rockwork looked terrific for what it's worth. Eager to see the current state.

New Deko start!
My idea was a whaleskeleton. Big cave and much place for coral and a minimum of rocks for maximal swimming/growing space for fish/corals. This is a result of my ideas an Norbert Dammers implementation. The pipes should be covered with crushed stones.

That is awesome looking. I have never considered crushed stone over PVC. It looks great. Any chance we can get close up pictures of the stone, I'm curious as to how porous it is and how frags get attached to it.

Thanks,
Corey

Amazing work. this already looks better than the last in term of flow, light, and more room for coral placement.
