Diy leds

Quick question for any led experts here please
My tv broke a few months ago and I'm just getting around to fixing it now. I ordered new leds that I will attempt to replace tomorrow and it got me thinking.
Each led that makes up the back light is 2w 6v cool white 150lm (250mA), however I don't know how many kelvin.
To me these sound like they could be used somehow in a reef setup, can anyone confirm/deny this for me??
