Coral Hitchhiker

Any idea what this is on my Clove Polyp frag? It looks almost like a small feather duster.

I can’t get a clear zoom in shot but maybe a palythoa? Could be the oral disk or an aiptasia, which you definitely don’t want. Google them and see if either look right.

It’s more brown in color. I don’t think it’s aipstasia. Also doesn’t close when I go near it when feeding the tank.

palythoa
You can just leave it be if you want..

Be aware they can be very toxic to humans/animals,etc.... So don't try to burn it off or lick the rock
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palythoa

Paly/zoas are very similar.. so its a coral that some people would keep

If it doesn’t retract its not an aiptasia.
