Thinking of doing:
2 x Purple Firefish (April) Yellowhead Jawfish (April) Midas Blenny or tailspot blenny (April) Macneill's Assessor Basslet (April) Starcki Damsel (April) Green Mandarin (after 8 months - year) Copperband Butterflyfish or Moorish Idol - I'd like one, but not willing to let it die. Fish I would add together out of QT, all purchased as small as possible probably August I would say: Blonde Naso Tang Powder Blue Tang Yellow Tang Emperor Angelfish juvi If I'm feeling dangerous maybe a Lineatus Fairy Wrasse and Blue Throat Triggerfish Male only or Pair as last fishes. |

It isn't necessarily a bad thing, some people like their skimmate to be a bit watered down, others like it dry. I am in the mind state of how I have it as pictured, which is in between.
So I am looking at my tank the past few days and noticed the water is a bit cloudy. I am not really sure why that may be. I changed the carbon on Saturday 2/23/13 and changed to a new filter sock also yesterday as well. Today I did a 15g water change and yet the tank is still cloudy. Any ideas how I can fix it? I plan on doing another 15g water change on Wednesday to see if that helps and switching my gfo as well. But other than changing water and socks I am at a loss . Thanks! |

Hey Brando.....how long has the tank been up and running now? Seems like a lot of fish in a very short period of time. You might be having some kind of bacterial bloom. Are you running any kind of carbon?

Thanks, how is your tank coming along? I was following your build thread and saw some things the rock :/.
I been on bed rest for past 72 hours, have a viral infection reeking havoc on my body. Lost about 10 -15 lbs in the past 72 hrs. Can't keep anything in at all and rough to lift my head. ugh. Feeling better today thankfully |

I haven't been since my last order I got from them. I was planning on doing more fish in April, but may need to extend that to may since I'll be getting my lasik surgery plus a crown/root canal. Aka lots of $ being spent in April.
I'm trying to figure out what fish to do next. My tangs will be last and I plan on going to buy a 7500 watt generator before they're added. Hmm decisions decisions. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Added an African Exquisite Wrasse Super Male and Yellow watchman goby today from Clown Aquatics. The African Exquisite Wrasse Super Male is AWESOME!, the yellow watchman goby disappeared in my 180 lol.
I will try to snap a video tomorrow, but so far no aggression among all the wrasses and it is already eating no problems. WOOOHOOOO |
