I have seen a few ppl on here with them..and I will be getting one in a week or two.
from what I see ppl really like them, but with the 6 channels of control there a lot to play with. the good and bad a guess. so setting up your custon program might take some thinking... |

Is this light similar to a evergrow product or is it a stand alone unit built fully by reefbreeders? The photon v1 series was the same as the EG2040 line.

Got my 24 v2 the other day. It is nice. It has a really good shimmer compared to my old 120 black box. Here are some cell phone shots at about half intensity.

Woods didn't mean for those photos to be so huge! Here is a real quick look at them and the shimmer they produce. Once again it's at half intensity.

How does the shimmer in your video compare to what you see in person?

Mine are green. Here it is with just channel 2 on.

It would be nice if led builders only advertised their diode layouts in terms of wavelength. Not color name. It confuses the customer and gives them license to mis label a diode intentionally to make their fixtures sound more appealing. Like calling violet "ultra violet" or green "cyan".

Eyeballs are not very good to figure this out here..
and many "cyan" flavors grade pretty close to the green look.. I sampled your photo (nowhere near definitive and depends on a LOT of different digital "trickery") and the green has a heavy blue component. wrote to RB's yesterday, will hopefully get a definitive answer |

Logan from Reef Breeders told me there will be wider optics available soon. Thought I would share that.
