Drain pump selection

I'm looking for a drain pump for my 120 gallon tank. My siphon has 1/2" ID tubing, so the pump's inlet would need to fit this. I've been using gravity but it takes too much time. I don't need an overly powerful pump as I do like to have a bit of time to siphon out detritus, but I would like to be able to drain 40 gallons of water in less than 45 min (what it takes me now).

I'm not sure if I understand your question but if I do then have u ever used a python. It hooks up to a sink & the pressure from the faucet makes the syphon & it does drain a good amount of water pretty quickly.

I'd actually prefer to drain to my shower. Easier to clean up bits of debris afterwards.
