Exclamation Need advice; is 120 gallon tank safe?

I have a brand new 120 gallon tank that was delivered to me last week unscheduled when I had no one to help me move it. The pallet it was on was broken and the corner of the box is torn away. It is 1/2" "starfire" glass.

Anyway, after much effort I get a dolly, then get the tank, on it's back, on the dolly, where it has been since (one week). There is a layer of Styrofoam between them, but I am worried the tank is going to be damaged by the position it is in. The dolly runs down the center, lengthwise, with either side unsupported.

Basically I am desperate to know is my glass okay?!

Its likely just fine..
But I'd suggest you go find someone to help you put it in a better position just in case..

only one way to find out... get some help and finish unpacking it so you can inspect it.

Woof, I might barf I'm so relieved.

Thanks everyone, I knew I was going to have to water- test it first, but your responses have all been VERY reassuring. The stand arrived cracked (and the sump shattered) so I'm waiting on that to be resolved as well, but I'll make sure to at least adjust where my tank lies for now.

Did you note the shipping damage in writing when you received it? Was it insure? Is there a time limit to filing a claim that may expire before you can thoroughly check it?

Fortunately we noticed and have been in constant contact with the company we bought the system from and it looks like they are shipping us a new sump and replacement parts for the broken stand as well.
