at the moment i have 1 couple M. meleagris, 2 females of M. Bipartitus and 1 female of M. negrosensis in a 132 gallon tank... the only wrasse with them is a mystery wrasse... the mix is going well and i am looking for a second M. negrosensis female but they are hard to find here.

Hey, just got my first leopard wrasse. I've been researching them and this guy showed up at the lfs. He was just too pretty to pass up.

I think his mouth looks ok now. The shape of it just seems small. He really prefers the really small pieces of food. But he's out every day and is always hunting for food. The most beautiful of the Leopards, Macropharyngodon negrosensis, or the Black Leopard. Mood dependent, the male Leopard have florescent aqua-marine color scale edges. IMO, there is no rival in the Macrophangodon Genus.
Female: Male. The Florescent color almost got capture in these pictures

Leopard wrasse experts... is a two spot candy hogfish likely to give one or more leopard wrasses trouble in a 180?
I have one established leopard (meleagris) in the tank, looking to add 2-3 more. Picked up a bipartitus, but also picked up a small candy hog at the same time. So far the candy hog is already being a bit of a jerk to the bipartitus in QT, but it’s only been a day. I don’t want the candy hog to mess up my leopard plans, wether that means messing with the current established one that is doing well, or stopping me from adding more in the future. He’ll go in the frag tank if he’s going to be an issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
