Valentini Puffer Sleeping on Seaweed Clip???

So i just recently got this valentini puffer fish from lfs about a week ago. Hes been eating very well and swimming around the tank very well. However the last couple of days... hes been sleeping on the seaweed clip a lot or likes to get #stuck " behind the filter where i circled red and sleeps there unless i put the seaweed clip in. Is this normal?? He is still eating frozen krills and mysis as he wont eat flakes or pellets. And still swims around but it just makes me worried that he'll lay there and stare at me even when i go up to the tank

Maybe he's just resting on a perch!
When they eat and swim normally they are fine...

In my experience with Valentinis they will always find a favorite place to sleep, whether a rock or in your case apparently a seaweed clip. There's nothing wrong with this. They are very neat fishes to watch and all have their own little personality. Your puffer may have a strict diet - don't worry. Offer tiny pieces of squid if you want to mix it up.
