Thinking about adding a Haddon's carpet anemone to a tank with BTA and LTA
I have a 40 gallon tank that I am keeping as an anemone tank with different clownfish. It has about 15 BTA of different sizes. I added a LTA 2 weeks back which seems to be doing fine. I want to add a small Haddon's carpet anemone as well. Has anyone kept these anemones together before. My concern is they might start a chemical warfare.
Thanks for your input. |

I kept haddoni with other anemones. The main issue with them is that they are solitary and don't like to be cramped by other anemones, and especially not their own kind.
They also require an at least 4 inches deep sand bed - a appropietly sized sandbox or sand filled ceramic flower bowl will work as well. While putting them with BTAs and other rock dwelling anemones can work I would not really recommend it. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
