Lightbulb

Here are a few more shots...

I'm trying to figure out how to get my camera to work a little better for me. I've got a photographer friend, but he's out of town at the moment.

My fish are are a lot less fuzzy in person...

Thanks guys, they benefit from me trying to keep the octo well fed. It's becoming a challenge with him, I think i'm going to be building an automated feeder that can supply mysid, ROE and possibly arctic pods throughout the day while i'm gone. Should help down the road with some of the other species I want to keep.

Means a lot coming from you.

I hope they start to display spawning behavior some day soon. It seems audacious to even say it, but I would love an opportunity to try and raise fry from them some day.

Exciting day tomorrow, finally get to start moving fish from my holding system over.

Planning to move the regal, rainfordi and probably some damsels.

I do have a flavi, he'll be in the last batch added.

I added my starcki, rainfordi and regal this morning.

I've got four or five talbots that I'll add tonight or tomorrow, they are in the sump and will take some effort to remove.

I'll throw some pics up later if the new additions are being photogenic. I didn't realize how big my rainfordi is until I added him.

Regal

Other side of the misbar

Regal and Venustus

I think this is everybody.

I've got a Red Sea Regal and two Multifasciatus coming tomorrow. Hopefully they ship well. I'm going to leave the lights off tomorrow, but I'll put some pictures up on Saturday or Sunday if all goes well.

Not sure how paring a Red Sea and Non Red Sea regal is going to go... time will tell.

And yes, I know those are still mostly all angels.

Nice looking regal Matt. Did you get him from the same guy you got the purple masks from? From what I remember about the regals I think that's a male with the "Y" pattern

They look great! I'm sad to say I lost my other starkii too. Of all the fish I would think I could lose, a pair of starki damsels never crossed my mind...

I got the Regal from NyAquatics almost a year ago. I'll try to post some baby pictures, I think they're on my wife's computer.

The multifasciatus are coming from the same source as the Venustus. Fingers crossed...

Supposedly the Regal coming tomorrow is a stunning specimen and a pig, We'll see.

Can't wait to see the pics! My buddy got a pair of multifasciatus for QM that were there since April (this was back in July) the female small (2") but she never really ate a ton and died a month ago. The male is still doing great but is very finicky about food sometimes. I would QT extra long and get them eating like champs, they become more secluded when introduced with other fish

Are you getting any large angels for this tank?

That's my plan exactly, I usually quarantine for pretty long time.

I'm considering a large angel for the tank. I'm concerned about becoming overstocked. It would probably be a chrysurus, still on the fence though. I need a bigger tank...

There are a pretty large number of butterflies that I still need to source.

Wow, hasn't changed much with the markings... You said you got him from Michael?

What other butterfly's are you getting for the tank? I,myself have been waiting patiently for a Mitratus to come up for sale... Hopefully it happens this month (it's my birthday later this month and it's easier to justify to my wife why I'm spending so much on a fish!)
