Who's got the oldest fish?

The oldest DSB thread is very interesting so I thought I would post the oldest fish thread. It's great to hear long term success stories in this hobby. So tell us about a fish you have kept for 6+ years, how big it was when you got it and how much it has grown. Maybe post what you feed it and the size of your tank too. I can't really respond. I haven't had any of my tanks set up for over two years before I either moved or downsized. Hopefully this new one will be a different story.

I have a 7.5 year old false Percula. This guy was about 3/4" when I got him. Now he's about 3.5". He's lived thru my hair algae outbreak, a bad stint and worse cure for flatworms AND a killer outbreak of ICH. Been feeding him marine 2 pellets, but he mainly thrives on copepods from my fuge. I always see him hunting in the rocks when the lights first come on.

I had a red eye tetra (freshwater) for about 10 years.

Pretty good when the life expectancy is about 4.

I have had several fish in the 12-13 year old range. They were still alive and kicking when I sold my last system complete. Thye included a Hippo Tang, Sailfin Tang, Cinammon Clown and a PITA 3 stripe Humbug Damsel.

Nice Hippo Tang. How big is it? What does it eat? How big when you got it?
