Humaguy - I noticed your tank dimensions and that you're using Mitra's. I have a tall tank at 42" (tank dim 7'x3'x42") and have received my 1st Mitra (figured I'd try it 2st to see if I like it before ordering another 2+ units.

The question is how high above your tank did you hang them, what levels do you run them at and are you using a customized profile or just the settings out of the box?

I noticed you're in CT? I'd enjoy a personal viewing of your setup.

Do the cocos lemonpeel and the regular lemonpeel show aggression toward each other or do they peacefully coexist?

They do not use those ice packs others use...
The food smells like seafood and yes, I have tried it, lol...
Holy smokes Ted, that’s a ton of food, do you really go thru that much in 3 months, or do you just like gifting a few packs now and then to other enthusiasts? Are you still getting the special humaguy blend, or are you using the off the shelf variety now that you aren’t feeding all of those Triggers? If off the shelf, do your Angels prefer the Fish, or the Herbivore Frenzy? Mine seem to enjoy both, but I think I will just order all Fish Frenzy next time around.

And as always, thanks for taking the time to share with the rest of us you truly amazing tank with its inhabitants…

Thanks bud! good to see you around...sorry, my bad, I am getting 12 packs...4 of each...lol, I am currently not begging Larry to supply the extra chunky blend but my fish are only getting larger so, it's just a matter of time...
LRF is my everyday, go to food, though I still add pe Mysis, spir brine, fresh seafood, nori, and some angel mixes...

I can def see a time where I am feeding lrf 99% percent of the time....

The diff between the blends is really quite minute...nori in one and smaller sized foods in another...I love them all...variety is great- even from the same source...
I do love the idea of probiotics in food and kudos to Larry for starting what I hope is a killer new trend...

btw...his swag is killer and that is how I fell in love with his company...his companies' insignia is a beautiful mandarin fish...I called him up and wanted to buy some shirts and hats for my girlfriend who loves mandarins...the rest is history...the embroidery of the mandarin is the best I have ever seen...

Hey Larry !! Thanks for the killer food...

So, I will have 12 packs, 4 of each type, tomorrow and will post some pics...

hey there...I would def order 2 more...I have them 13 inches above but can adjust and slide the units 6 feet to either side of the tank which is great...started off with Michael's low-light program...tried a few but just settled on my own...I tend to keep them dialed way down...
yes, in ct...will probably do a bbq in the spring, always welcome...good luck, tk..

You had me worried there for a minute, I was starting to think perhaps you had personally taken a liking to the LRS, and perhaps an intervention was in order… After all, it does smell good enough to eat.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Larry when I placed my first order, and I could tell straight away he was good people, the kind you really hope to see succeed in his endeavors… There is no doubt he makes an incredible product, I know my fish are big fans of LRS foods, and it does sound like it will only be getting better for their long term health in the near future.

the amount of garlic (actually garlic water) is so far less than minute, I am cool with it...

So, here is an order from Larry's Reef Frenzy...

dry ice warning, bill, handcard, cool magnet...

can feel the cold as the dry ice is packed above the flats...some noodles and just below this is a piece of cardboard...

the goods are below the cardboard- which I already removed..
the black LRF handtowel is an extra purchase but killer during a wc...

Their killer logo and how I first noticed the company...

Larry always throws a bunch of Swedish Fish in each box- which my girlfriend loves, thanks Larry!

I just let id defrost for 5-10 minutes...
and it looks like this, notice there is no moisture- all food...
so of the pieces I mince additionally with a sharp knife...

food in some fresh water- I rinse twice...

fish are eating...

If you still had your triggers, you wouldn't have to worry about cutting it up or defrosting it.

Absolutely love this food, ever since you turned me onto it, my fish won't accept much else. They have gotten to the point where they don't even care much for PE Mysis.

I know you rinse your food, but this stuff is extremely clean even without rinsing. I tend to feed some frozen chunks by hand to my puffer. It works well because he bites off the exact amount and doesn't spend time chasing smaller bits around the tank.

Hands down, the best food i've tried.

I've noticed you mentioning this re: a lot of the goldflakes on the market now. Would ordering from from LA/DD or NYA lessen the chance of getting a hybrid, IYO?
