New Pheonix DIY 25 LED Kit (SolderLess)
This is without a doubt the easiest highest quality DIY LED Light Kit on the market. We specifically chose only the best Cree LEDs and went one step further and chose only the best lots which offer superior looks. Every component from the Drivers to the Optics are the best parts available. These are the same LEDs we use on our personal reef tanks. Our Cool Whites do not have a yellow look. A few other differences are Optics are included and there is a Mix of Royal Blue and Regular Blue. Also we went with 7.5K XP-Gs over the XP-E Cool White. These XP-Gs are a select bin of our choice which offers maximum growth with a crisp white not yellow look. Using the XP-G R5 also maximizes efficiency and allows more real estate to add a few extra LEDs for customization. Future generations will include the XM-L and XT-E but for now this is the best of the best at the most reasonable price. Overall we took the time to think this through and based on our research and experience running LEDs over our personal and public reefs came up with the ultimate SolderLess Kit using the best parts while still leaving room for upgrades and colour tweaking.
