WANTED: Test Kit Instructions

I want the instructions from your test kit.

Have you ever lost the instructions to one of your test kits only to find later that you couldn't remember whether it was one drop of A and two drops of B or the other way round?

Well, help me out with a little experiment. If you have a scanner, please scan the instructions for your test and then attach it to a post on this thread.

The post should include the brand and kind of test you have, and any other information that you think might be important. Then, if you know how to post pics, post the instruction sheet on the post.

If you don't know how to post pics, then just hit the Go Advanced button and use the Manage Attachments button (scroll down a little) to attach it to the post and someone can put it up into a post for you.

If we can get a large number of kits covered in this thread, then I will compile them all into a list and start this post over with the instructions organized in a way that makes them easy to find.

Thanks for your help.

Here are some links to the new Red Sea kits. The instructions for the tests are towards the end of each pdf.

Quick links:
Ca-Alk-Mg PDF
http://www.redseafish.com/uploadImag....2011%204W.pdf

NO3-PO4 PDF
http://www.redseafish.com/uploadImag....2011%204W.pdf

I- Fe- K PDF:
http://www.redseafish.com/uploadImag....2011%204W.pdf

This thread in the RedSea Forum has the video instructions. If you are using RedSea kits and haven't seen the videos, then this is definitely worth a click.

http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=2056381

Thanks to Aviad for helping me find all that!

David I will help with your project here. Would you like them in PDF format and with this site let you upload a PDF? It's one of the extension in the attachment manager.

I'm not going to turn anything down. PDF's are great. Maybe later someone can help us turn them into something that will show up on the post, but for now sure just attach them.

Hanna Checker........Calcium & Alkalinity

Calcium Checker

Alkalinity Checker

When using this Hanna Checkers with the supplied tip. Be sure to fill the syringe very, very slowly to avoid air getting in where the tip connects to the syringe.

This is an example where I used red food coloring and what it should look like when filled correctly.
