No denying that the jebo moves more water, and it appears to be further down than the vortech.

I apologize for my amateur video skills. I'm still trying to learn how to use this camera and haven't really played with the settings. Also, I had to use my tank cleaning magnet to hold up the Jebao pump because I couldn't reach the magnet for the pump in the back of my tank.

In both videos, only the return and the pump in the title are on. The Jebao is quieter than the Vortech but you can still hear the noise. However, please keep in mind that the video captures and exaggerates the sounds.
Thanks for the vids. It gives us the best look at both pumps. And I think the fish love it too.

Maybe that snail is restricting some of the flow on the MP40

Thanks to the reviews and discount code I have 2 Jebao pumps in transit now too.

I like the new layout also. Very open.

holy crap that Jebao WP40 looks like a Tunze 6105! How much do they cost and what type of controller do they run on?

Hey Tina,

My friend that came over to my house said the same thing! lol. He actually thought it was a tunze until he saw the controller. It uses a proprietary controller sort of like the Vortechs, except with less modes. I think there are some comparison pics with the 6105 inside the extremely large WP40 thread. The Jebao is slightly bigger than the tunze.

I bought the pump for $85 plus shipping.

I finally ordered one too, myself. Thanks Jonathan. Yeah, I got them for $85 too. Can't wait for it to show up. Should be interesting to have that replace the 2 Koralias and supplement the 2 MP40's. Do you know if there has been a successful mod to dial down the speed whether it be a voltage drop to 12 volts or it be all this discussion about a PWM controller so that the APEX can get that dialed in?

I actually ordered this from Amazon. It works great at dialing down the pump but I don't use it because I prefer the pump at full power.

You're not going to go with the 0-10v analog input PWM modules so you can use them with your controller?

I ordered the adapter from Amazon before I found out about the ability to make it work with controllers. But for my setup, I either leave it in W1 or Else mode anyways. I rarely change it. The only thing I may need is to dial down the pump just a bit if I move it to another area of the tank.

I started organizing some of my wires but realize this isn't a project that I could finish before bed time. I'm probably going to finish cleaning up the wires tomorrow, build a new shelf for the doser, and run cleaner lines for the ATO.

I thought I'd post a pic before I went to bed.
