I have a Damsel and a Tomato that's been together in a tank for nearly 2 years together.
The tomato will punk the damsel every now and then but nothing major where they are bickering.
I want to add a totally different fish to these two guys, any idea if a CHERUB would be able to hold it's own?
Please advise :)
Thanks

Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen IMO.

Nitro- what are you talking about? how is it a disaster
personally I would say you will be fine, Cherubs, are pretty fiesty, and fortunate for you your adding him to your tank last as they don't take well to newcomers. Your only concern is during the initial 2 maybe 3 days of the introduction, where you will have simple chasing and a few nipped fins, but given time it should settle down. Best of Luck

I would go ahead and try it. I'm not sayin it'll work, so you should have a plan of giving the fish to a better home if it doesn't. Also, watch your corals.

Thanks guys, I might have to find an alternative, I was intially curious about territory but now that I've gotten some feedback apparently the 2 feet of swimming space in a 25 would be sufficient for the active cherub.
I'll find a way to get BLUE from another fish :)

Maybe I'm missing something, but a 25 gal, 2 ft tank is plenty big for a cherub, so I see no trouble adding it. As far as holding it's own cherubs can be very agressive, especially to new fish so I see no trouble adding it to an established tank with no shy fish already there. I love cherubs, I have a colony in each of my tanks and I just added this sm female to my smaller colony in my 24 gal nano.

She has been in since tue eve and is still a little shy but she eats and has no trouble with any of the other tank mates.
