So I was doing some maint. on the tank today and I unplugged the wave box at the little box instead of the wall like I normally do (plug is hard to get to)
When I plugged it back in nothing happened. I have the flashing red/green light and the power light is on but no wave. I removed the stream, cleaned and reinstalled but it still isn't working.

Help please!

Try disconnecting the controller. My guess is the food timer button got wet or is stuck in the pressed down position. If it runs without the controller and the controller lights up when connected, this is the most likely culprit.

Thanks Roger, I disconnected everything and pluged it back in and everything works!

I have had that happen, the foodtimer is based on a capacitor discharging and it takes a bit of time with no power to fully discharge and reset.

Roger,

Same problem but this time it didn't reset after leaving the controller unplugged for a while. What to do?

The pump does not run with the controller disconnected? It should then run full power. How old is the pump and has it been cleaned recently?

Roger,

Does not run with or without the controller. And it worked fine until I unplugged it. This is the only time I have this problem, other than that it works all the time even when I use the food timer. I'd say the pump is a little less than one year old.

Can you stop by here later this week with the pump and controller or drop it off with Bruce at AquaTek?

Sure thing Roger, I was going to pay Bruce a visit tomorrow, it'll be there!

Roger,

Thanks for the super-fast turn around time and the new pump!

One question though is the foam that was in the bag. I assumed it acts as a "pillow" and installed it at the bottom of the box. However when I powered the unit it created a ton of fine micro bubbles. I then removed it and kept it out but wanted to know if the bubbles are to be expected and should I keep it in?

Thanks again!

Clint

The foam goes under the pump at the bottom of the box, it could be just air trapped in the foam. That should stop in time.
