[QUOTE=michael]
I started this particular tank on 26 november 2007, It is 92 US gallons and is a corner tank, it has had many modifications since it was first set up, i have added a customised sump, replaced spray bars, added powerheads, and have even lost corals because of a auto top off float switch flooding the tank with fresh water. I have now stabilised water parameters and will update new pictures next year after buying and adding a lot more livestock. Alternatively click on my gallery for a few more and better larger pictures.

Currently i have 2 koralia 2s, 1 koralia 1, 2 tunze 6025s, a 350 gallon return from my 13.5 gallon sump, i run a kent phosphate reactor run by a maxijet 400, in which i usually use 1 quarter rowa phos, i have a phosphate filter filled with ultraphos, i have a Tmc v2 800 skimmer and also a maxijet 1200 keeping the water moving in the sump, i have a small heater in the sump but never switch it on as the temperature always remains at 26-28 centagrade. My biological filteration is based on the 115 pounds of live figi rock in the DT and 10 pounds of live figi rock in the sump. My lighting consists of 2 x 48 watt T5 tubes, 1 marine white and 1 marine blue, also there are 2 x 24 watt T5 tubes consisting of 1 marine white and 1 marine blue tube, My LED lighting is called aquaray, i have 4 x 12 watt bars, these colour arrangments are 2 reef blues which is 2x 5 blue LEDs, 1 reef white which is 5 white LEDs, and 1 marine blue which is 3 blue and 2 white LEDs, im very very happy with my lighting.

My livestock has altered, however at present i have 12 assorted soft corals and 6 hard corals, 3 fish, some mixed shrimps, various crabs and snails. I replace water every 2 weeks, usually 8-10 gallons and use Tropic Marin Pro Reef and Tetra marine salt. I only dose kent Dkh buffer or baking soda and kalkwasser at present. I also run carbon, i left this until last as i like carbon. I have been using it for well over 20 years on all sorts of aquaria, ive never had a yellow tank or clarity problems and i use carbon 24-7, i believe you cant use enough, although because of cost i use 500 Milli litres at a time, i usually change it every 2-4 weeks, i will always use it and cant think of any reason why not to.

My parameters are maintained as best as these values listed below:

ph-7.9-8.1 currently dosing with kalkwasser to improve this (aim is 8.2-8.3)

ph is now stable at 8.2

calcium 420-450

magnesium 1400 never been much lower?

dkh 8-10 was 9.6 in jan 09

nitrate 0

phos unmeasureable but i do have some phos

nitrite and ammonia 0 at all times

temperature 26-28 c

Please feel happy to pm me for any other information required, thanks for clicking on my little red house and visiting my little reefing world here at reef central.

Now heres some pictures of my tank
