Nice Jesse! I like how busy mouth parts are visible.

Where's the like button? :) I'd be happy if I took that pic. Nice tonality and composition. Wing extension. Even got some tongue.

This is my 'like button'. Probably not what you're looking for. :lmao:

Really cool pic Jesse - I like to too. The frame matte you've been using lately is sweet as well, really get that depth perception from the pic.

My wife and I went for a beach walk on Lovers Key in SW Florida. I had my point & shoot super zoom camera.

This Osprey was in a tree top about 200 to 250 feet away.

The Red Heron was only 100 to 150 feet away.

Roseate Spoonbill is not very common around here any more, so I consider myself lucky, and this one was 250 to 300 feet away.

This thread is my guilty pleasure. Some really great images.

Let me explain my train pic. I was driving over to my buddy's house. When I got stopped at a light, this train passed on my right. I looked down and my camera was sitting in the passenger seat. I reached down and grabbed it. Just then the light turned green. I took off and caught up to the engine. With one hand on the camera, I turned it on, made a couple settings, put the camera up and took a few shots, (no, I didn't think to roll the window down.)

We were cruising side by side, and the guy driving saw me and started blowing his horn. I just waved and started laughing. Not a bad shot for being one handed, through a window with both me and the train moving at about 35mph.
