If a acro starts to look like it’s going south (RTN) how long should you let it stay in the tank hoping “maybe” it will come back, to avoid any effects to the water chemistry.. thanks

I’d recommend fragging it to save some of it if it looks like it’s ya not stopping. Don’t wait too long.

Depending on the coral and the infection, could be an hour or a day. As stated above, the best way is fragging unaffected parts.

Thanks! What would the effects of leaving it be ? I have seen where others say it may come back but I’m nervous about leaving it and getting a spike in ammonia/ nitrate

letting it die in the tank wont effect the water quality
