I understand what you're saying, but at first glance, an unusually high demand for rentals should drive the price up. I guess it's an unusually high demand by people who can't pay that much - thus if you want to lease your house, the price must be low enough -
My situation has gotten complicated - my mother had a stroke last week - doesn't look like I'm going to be trekking off on an Australian adventure anytime soon. The cost of her care is amazing.
