75 Gallon Rimless 'standpipe ideas' ???

I am building a new tank (my first reef) with dimensions 48"x18"x21" Tall. I want to do a standpipe or central overflow. I want to stay away from any wall or corner overflows as this tank might be placed in such a way as to walk all the way around it.

I am not sure how many holes I should drill, what sizes they should be, and what considerations I should have when designing the overflow/standpipe system. Any thoughts???

I was leaning toward a borosilicate (lab grade) glass pipe standpipe, but I think that might have gurgling noises as it free falls to the sump? The durso method apparently silences a standpipe, but it gets sort of bulkly and I have only seen it as PVC...

I will scape with two islands to maximize flow and keep my glass open as well as cover the standpipes a bit.

Any ideas? Here is my concept so far...

Thanks!!
