Yeah, I couldnt forget to post here. Just wanted to wait till I was later in the project to do it. I will take a pic today sometime since I have the camera back for now. I really need to get started on that desk so I can start mounting my electrical stuff.

And what do you use to stick the sand on?
Thanks. To attach it I used zip ties to the overflow slots. For the foam I just used great stuff, common stuff at any hardware store. As for making the sand stick I used Epoxy Resin I picked up from Hobby Lobby. Here is a pic..

It worked pretty good.

I did, thanks again. I just ordered the Bulk Reef Supply Dual GFO/Carbon reactor. Will hook that up today and start running it soon.

Couple of updated pics. I am currently building the desk that will go next to the tank. Below that houses the ATO tank, and this is where all the chemicals, food, etc will go.

Thanks. Its a lot more time consuming than I thought. If I could stay off RC then I am sure I would be done by now.

I am thinking of covering it with something. Maybe different monti caps. We shall see. Corals will start going in next week. Need to get some more fish and finish up the desk. Then onto the skinning of the stand and canopy.

Ok, I am at a standstill with mounting, or where to mount stuff. I want most of the stuff visible so I can see without having to open cabinets up. So I need some ideas. I need to incorporate a CPU, and 19" LCD, Reefkeeper elite, JBJ ATO, DJ power strip(probably going to mount below the desk). I still want to leave some room on the desk to allow for logging manually, fragging, etc. Open to ideas. My head hurts, LOL Here is a pic, lemme know if you need more....

Here are a couple of pics. I am trying to figure out the camera along with trying to figure out the RKE. Both seem impossible....
First pic is an ORA appleberry.
Second pic is a Rainbow Prostata

I will try to get one more pic. I am slowly figuring this thing out. Also got the RKE hooked up tonight. I need to order another PC4 though. Man I wish I could sell my blood. LOL

Thats good to hear Kudora, I noticed mine is starting to on that side. Maybe tomorrow it will look better on that other side. It really is a beautiful coral. Ackerman will be happy when we can give him a frag.

Demonic,
Nice build so far. You are definitely a DIY guy!
One suggestion and maybe I missed it in the phots is putting unions and gate valves or ball valves on each side of the dart. That way if you need to pull the pump you won't have to drain the sump or the tank. I learned that the hard way!

LOL, its funny you mention that. I am actually taking both of the darts offline today. I sold the one that is on the closed loop and the one that is on the return will go to that one. The new returns will be two eheim 1260's. I will be adding Koralia Magnum 8's for added flow. They can be controlled by the RKE. As for taking them offline I have caps that will be screwed in to the bulkheads that will cut flow to them. There will be some water but I will drill a small hole to drain that.

I love the wall. I am planning on doing a 180 just like you with a fish room behind it.

I would love to see pictures of the wall as it matures and with water in the tank.

I will definitely keep the thread updated. Its starting to turn colors now. First comes brown. Not good looking but good to see it going through the stages.

I will post some tonight. I took one of the darts offline yesterday, PITA, and hooked up two Eheim 1260's for returns. I ordered a Koralia 8 and will be ordering another pretty soon (recoup some funds). I can use them on the RKE for a wavemaker. Should be pretty cool. So no more micro bubbles which is awesome. Will post some more when I wake up today. Cant do much from work...

Is that an older version of the ReefKeeper Elite? I got mine for christmas and the touchpad is a bit different. It doesnt really look like yours and is more "touch screeny"
