Herbie plumbing

Hey everyone, I'm in the middle of setting up a new tank and I'm going with a herbie drain. I'm curious about the siphon though. The main drain is 1.5 inch, the bulk head is 1 inch. I was going to run 1 inch pvc over to the sump inlet. The sump is a trigger cr44 and the inlet to that is 1.5 inch. I was wondering if going 1 inch pvc to the sump and then 1.5 inch going into the sump will mess up the full siphon and cause it to gurgle or anything?

it should not gurgle unless air is getting in where the connections (pipe size changes) are.
