Just crazy!
I remember following your build.. i was soo jealous!! It was so much fun watching that beast go up.. The tank has matured incredibly well.. Why the switch from mh/t5 to full t5? I don't know how you'll do it (and frankly i don't care much!!) but YOU GOTTA get top down shots!!! Your tank is like looking into some pristine natural reef alcove. Love it!

Hi Matt,
Heat, electricity and the option to tweak tube / led colours. Without my aircon, tank temps would hit 29C, so a bit worried if the aircon failed in summer! The actinic and blue tubes with the rb/ violet LEDs looks amazing! The PAR on the ATI t5/Led is much higher than my 9x400W radiums. It's a fantastic light source and I don't need to run my aircon to control tank temp... I tried some top downs, but with the tubes covering everywhere, it's almost impossible! I'll need to slide the lights away to see if I can get some decent shots.... Mo Last edited by Moser; 05/16/2015 at 12:06 AM. |

Wow what a sweet reef! Love that front to back depth, it gives such a natural feel to the tank.
Questions, what did you use for the rock at the sides and throughout for that matter? How long has this beauty been running? Did you start with frags or colonies? Would love to see some behind the scenes pictures as well - fish room, equipment, etc. Thanks for sharing.

Mo, your photos are very interesting, different than others. Your huge corals are impressive.
