Reef Calc Measures 571 on Trident

My new Trident is measuring 571 on the Calc, when all the past months Ive measured 465 on my Salifert….
Is 571 a safe number for calc ? And if not how can I bring it down ?

I would verify with a second or third test kit.

How many tests have you run with the Trident?

As long as you aren't adding any calcium, it will drop on it's own over time.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Ive run about 20 plus tests on the Trident.
I’m going to buy Saltwater reference solution by Fauna Marin which has fixed values for calibrating and check my Salifert test.

Good idea, just buy enough so you can use the same solution and run a few tests with the Trident to verify it's correct.

So I tested my Calc with known water parameters and my trident seems to be reading about 100 points too high.

So in that case, you might want to contact Neptune and see if they have an answer.
