A little questions to do a wireless connection with the AC Jr and my Laptop!!
Hi curt,
I want to connect my AC Jr. with my Laptop "wireless". You can see what I am talking about here: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...hreadid=917690 And the company (griddconnect) where I bought the Items to do that want to know serial the port settings and are asking me... What is the baud rate of the controller? (1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19.2k, 38.4k, 57.6k, 115.2k, 230k) Also they are asking me this.... Data bits (7 or 8), Stop bits (0 or 1), Parity (Even, Odd, or None), and Flow Control (hardware, software or none) Can you please tell me that?. I don't know anything about all that jeje but I am sure that you can tell me the information and then give it to the support area where I bought the wireless adapter. So then they will tell me if this can works or not. Thank you in advance and I will be waiting your prompt answer. Mario

Ok one more question....
My blueetooth device is in COM40 So in the AquaNotes Software how I can put that ? Because I see that I only can choose Com Port 1 to 4, but I need Com 40. So the support of the Bluetooth device are asking me if... Is there a way in the AquaNotes to configure to COM40 ? I hope!!

Right click on my computer then go to properties, then go to the hardware tab. Now go into device manager and go down to where it says ports, hit the + sign and it shows you the ports. Right click on com40 and go to properties. then go to the port settings tab and hit the advanced button. The combo box that says com port number can be changed to any com port you want as long as it is not in use.
