Unusual rbta activity??

All,

One of my RBTA’s (pastel pink) has been acting strangely for the past 1.5 months. It started with it moving to a “blasting” zone. (parked directly in-front of my gyre) He remained in this location for about two weeks until I discovered his location via underwater cam and encouraged him to move. He then began to move all around the tank, never appearing to extend tentacles. He hid from all lighting for 2-3 weeks, and has now shown back up, yet he now has ZERO tentacles.? After 20 years in the hobby, I have yet to seen one shed/lose tentacles and still live.. He seems happy as he is inflating and absorbing light. Has anyone had experience with this? All the while my Sunburst BTA has experienced no similar symptoms.
