There are so many great pics here! It is interesting how many professional photographers here? And where do you usually go to make photos? Personally I'm an amateur and started shooting not long ago. I like long walks as they allow to find many great things to shoot. By the way, I've recently found a list of Photography Sites. To be honest, I became inspired after looking through them. So, I'm going to visit several places as I like traveling and there will be a great possibility to make some photos.

To Alex, I don't consider myself a "pro". A pro makes their living off it, I don't. I've sold images before, but I have a regular 9 to 5. I don't know what you mean by make photos. I shoot everything in RAW, make adjustments in either PS or Lightroom and I have regular and large format printers. If I need to go any larger, I run what I want to a usb drive and take it to Staples.

Oh yea, the pic per post.

Honestly, I travel very little. I do know the area I live in quite well. Most people would be surprised what's in their own back yard.

An Agava in Bloom. That stalk is about 18' tall. Once it blooms, the entire plant dies.
