Went trough the whole thread, absolutely stunning! My local sea is brackish and has ''ugly'' fish in it, want to trade?
It would be nice if you could make a new thread where you just post all pictures so that people who doesn't have the time to go trough the whole thread will see all of the pictures in about 3 pages.

Bluering octopus, salt water crocodiles, box jellyfish, sea snakes.... How do people live there?
I only have to worry about snakes here in south Texas

Lewy, I'd like to thank you for sharing your exploits with all of us from around the world! Hats off to you mate!
Now I'd like to address some of the people that are "following" this thread. FIRST, very few of you noticed that Lewys tank literally fell apart due to some nasty worms. I believe only a few people even commented on it. Not many noticed that Lewy had issues with his life going on, only that he wasn't around to post pictures. Not many noticed that Lewy lives in Brisbane Australia, sure some did but there are still those who are asking where this is. Several people wonder how Lewy can go out and catch this stuff for his aquarium. Most of which he doesn't keep, only out for the enjoyment of taking pictures and sharing it with others. He keeps nothing accept for some live rock and frags. Many have asked about the laws where Lewy lives pertaining to taking life from the tidal reef. Again you didn't read the thread. It's all been posted. There is no way that any of you read 50 pages or so in an hour or two. IMPOSSIBLE. You may have skipped through to the pictures and then in that case makes sense that nobody pays attention to what has been written. So lets say you as you claim to "read" the thread there were some 1250 posts in 50 pages. No speed reader alive can read and comprehend 1250 posts in 50 pages in 60 minutes or so. Give it a break. I've also seen pretty much all of the 7 deadly sins posted here by people, and much more than once. AMAZING Lewy this thread proves one thing, nobody actually reads or comprehends what they've just "read" You have been a good sport with sharing for so many years since 08 of your field trips to the wonderful tidal pools of OZ. Australia is an amazing country and I've been all up and down the east coast. I was there for 6 weeks back in 1998 and found it to be a wonderful welcoming country. Many strange, beautiful, delicious and dangerous things to see and do. I loved every minute of it. I especially enjoyed the Great Barrier Reef. In closing I'd like to say that I'm embarrassed for all of the people that only cared about "seeing more pics" So selfish to keep taking and only wanting more. Lewy God Bless you man and hopefully you find the spark that got you into having your own piece of the tidal reef of your beautiful country so you can create another work of art from God! |
