Progress!

Back of the tank is painted.

Got my RO/DI set up finally. Three different leaks I had to plug on this bastard.

And now my SW is mixing!

Should be doing aquascaping on Saturday!

That's the plan. An army of super mutant fish to destroy my enemies.

Redid a bit of the right side aquascape to help the flow out, and I've installed the Tunze Nano Cleaner which you can kind of see on the right hand side.

Yeah the stock bulbs are not great, but how can you go wrong with a good reflector, built in LED moonlights and dual timers? It's a great little fixture!

Hmm... Stocking suggestions?

Non-negotiable: Some sort of Clown, Sixline Wrasse, Pep Shrimp, Blood Shrimp.

I'd like one or two more fish that would work well with this, preferably non-jumpers. Thinking about a Yasha Goby or a Hi-Fin Banded...

Any other suggestions?

Well so much for my non-jumpers. Grabbed a Purple Firefish yesterday I've added some acrylic strips along the front and back of the tank to help prevent any lost fish.

The first part of my CUC is in too:

5 Redstripe Turbos
5 Ceriths
Pep Shrimp
Emerald Crab

So lots of updates...

After the Firefish I added a Court Jester Goby and let the tank sit for another 20 days or so. All has been running well. I've also finished off the CUC with 12 Astrea Snails and 6 Nassarius.

For some other fun crustacean goodness, the tank has a pair of very smell emerald crabs, a Peppermint Shrimp and I added a Fire Shrimp yesterday along with a Lawnmower Blenny.

The first corals are in, a Pink Birdsnest, Purple Millepora and an Orange/Red Monti.

Newest FTS:

The GHA is almost all gone now. I'll get a new FTS tonight.

Inhabitants:

That is a cool start there really like it, but just to tell you something that happened to me was when I was new to reefing I put a lawnmower blenny and firefish in a 24 gallon and they ended up fighting and the firefish got killed. then the lawnmower died too because there wasnt enough algae its just too small of a tank. So just as a suggestion I would take out the lawnmover. but either way good job so far.

I'll supplement the LMB with Nori tucked into the rock if needed, and he and the FF seem to be getting along well enough.

My 120/190g system is ready to go anyhow, I just need rock. I can transfer the LMB there if aggression or feeding becomes and issue as well.

Thanks for the heads up though.

Nice rock work and that tank has a really nice footprint.

So, are we to assume you won't be adding the non-negotiable clown and 6-line?

Keep the pictures coming!

No, there is a lip under the microwave and I have and acrylic strip along the front of tank just in case.

The SixLine is out. The tank went a much too peaceful direction to really allow that.

A small clown is still under debate. It would certainly be the last fish added. There is a good size frogspawn in the tank now too, which would hopefully be a good host for a small clown.

I won't be adding anything else for at least a few weeks though. Letting all the chemistry even out after adding the LMB.
