Post Aquamonitor v1.5

Hi everyone,

Aquamonitor is a DIY project, based on raspberry pi, (already) handling:
  • Water leak detection
  • Real time alerting through emails and push
  • Water level monitoring
  • Auto top off (daily evaporation compensation)
  • Auto Water Change (AWC)

I uploaded the full design of Aquamonitor on Instructables to allow others to make their own:
http://www.instructables.com/id/Aquamonitor/

The code is published and maintained on github here:
https://github.com/aquamonitor/Aquamonitor

happy reefing everyone.

Nice to see other people doing DIY controllers. I decided to go with an arduino for the stability. (dont need to rely on OSes) Only difference mine does is control the LED duty cycles and no AWC.

Hi!

You can replace this sensor by two aluminum or copper stripes to cover all the lenght of your tank as I'm showing on example below.

Hey Kameo thanks for making this public so we can all work together to make something awesome!

I have just setup my RPi 2 with raspian and pixel and am ready to go! I guess I need to get these files onto the pi and then what? That bits missing from the instructable.

Thanks again !
