seahare wont eat hair algae

Ok a few months ago I had a bit of a hair algae problem and I purchased a seahare. Cleaned the tank beautifully! I continued to feed him algae sheets etc. Well now I have had a little hair algae come back (months later) and he wont touch the stuff now, What gives? I pick the little guy up and put him right in front of the algae and he doesnt eat it..... The algae is getting longer and longer haha.

yeah i have not fed him the sheets in a while, at least since the hair algae has been coming back. I do get a little film of something over my sand bed and he seems to love that cause he always eats it.
