THe clowns are really cool.
How many gallons is the tank? ALso did you introduce the clowns at the same time? or different times? Have they bred yet? Are they related? |

Hi,
Thanks for your comments! Marc - this FOWLR is a former Reef that´s why I have the coraline in back. Quote:
buttons buster - the 8 clowns are hall brothers (and sisters!!!) and they were born in a local Store. Fortunately I manage to keep them since they were a few months old and they give along very well. They didn´t breed yet but they are already forming at least 2 couples! The all system as 185 gallons. The main tank almost 145 gallons. Cheers, Diogo |

Very nice tank. It will be interesting to see how the clowns work out long term. I also really like the Chaetodonplus mesoleucos.
As a side note, those are really nice pictures. Do you do color adjustments to them after you take them? The colors actually look like the true colors, the color on my pics always seems way off regardless of what I do. |

Nice tank.............I'd stick with just 2 semilarvatis. Two will probably pair off & the third will get bullied into a corner.
How about another Collare?

You have some very tough fish to keep in that batch, especially the plebeius & the vagabund. Have they eaten yet?
It's hard to tell from the picture but you may have a decussatus instead of a vagabund. If that's the case, then it should be okay. They are very similar in markings but totally different in hardiness. The back end of the decussatus is black about 1/4 of the body with a yellow striped tail. The vagabund has black stripe on it's backside with the yellow striped tail. Good luck, keep us posted vagabund------ http://www.meerwasser-lexikon.de/eng...vagabundus.htm decusstus---- http://www.meerwasser-lexikon.de/eng...decussatus.htm

Hi,
Finally I had received the reefbranches and some new algae. But the most important news are that I´de just received two Zanclus... Here are some other pics of the full layout were you can check the new algae and the reefbranches... The new algae Codium Cymodocea Serrulata - sea grasse. Galaxaura Marginata The bad news... the Chaetodon plebeius is dead with no reason whatsoever - he was eating well and yesterday at lunch time he eat heaven dry food! Cheers, Diogo |
