Red LED's on Radion won't shut off.

I originally posted this on the sponsor forum but it did not generate any response. So, I'll try my luck here. I've had 2 Radions over my 90 gal. for approximately 2 months now and until now have not experienced any problems with these lights. My Radions are set to natural mode and are set to turn off at 7:00 pm. All but the red LED's turn off. Anyone else have this problem and if so, how did you rectify it? Thank you.

I forgot to mention, the problem is with only 1 light. The other light is functioning fine.

I had a problem with radion lights not turning off (whites), and was unable to properly diagnose the problem. Quite often the response will be to do a factory reset, and reprogram the lights. This may help. Then redo the calibration procedure. I found it best to do the calibration slowly. Sometimes the lights do not come on for a few seconds, and I've already pressing the "NO" response. HTH

I was initially surprised that there was no response because Ecotech is usually pretty good at addressing any issues with their product. Then I noticed that you had posted yesterday afternoon so you might want to give them at least a day to get back to you. If you go back to their forum you will notice a "sticky" near the top where they list both their phone number and email address. Give them a call they are usually pretty good at talking people through issues to determine whether you have a warranty issue or not.

Thank you ghostman and footboard. When I went on the Ecotech website, I was instructed to peruse the site to see if my question had already been asked before posting my question. I did as instructed and found that this question had indeed been previously asked. Unfortunately, or fortunately, the OP who asked the question was advised that the problem might be due to a programming issue and was further advised to call the help line. I was hoping to avoid doing this due to how hard it is sometimes to get through. However, I will call Ecotech this morning. Thanks again to both of you.

Run the calibration process. That should correct the problem. Also, check the timing of the day/night cycle.

Ironically, that's when this problem began. I had to calibrate both lights due to another issue I was having with one of the radions earlier in the week. Calibrating the lights solved that problem but then this one began

Sorry about that, didn't mean to give advice on steps you had already taken. And thanks for taking the suggestions in the spirit it was given.
