Anyone burst their LEDs to full power for a very short time?
I run AI Sol blues. The max intensity that I get to on them is around 70% during the day. I ramp from 40-70 thru the day, with blue actinics running before and after.
My question is if anyone that runs 50-80% intensity as their max, what would happen if during the day you jacked up the light to 100% for only 15 minutes, then back down to your normal settings. Would this short high burst of light have any beneficial results? Just trying to be creative in helping my coloration of my SPS. |

I dont think that short of a burst is going to be real benifical, you could just activate the thunderstorms and you will get many split second burst throughout a 30 minute period.
